BBJ Spooky Showing!
Join us for our Fall FREE Spooky Showing to kick off our 2024 season of newly expanded BBJ Musical Theater Academy! Prepare to be entertained by excerpts from “spooky” musicals such as: THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, BEETLEJUICE, CHICAGO, THE ADDAMS FAMILY and more! Our Youth, Teen and Adult musical theater, dance, and acting programs will all be showcasing in this 90-min showing happening at the NEW “De La Luz” owned by Lighthouse School (formerly “the Hub” at Gateway City Arts.) We are partnering with Lighthouse to support the programs of their Alternative High School in Holyoke, so there will be an “ask” for a donation of any amount at the event. Doors Open at 6:30pm, show starts at 7pm. FREE and open to the public!
BBJ Holyoke Summer Camp Showcase!
Our BBJ Signature Summer Camp Showcase! 3 days - 3 pieces. This informal showing will showcase musical pieces in the Patriotic Theme during the week of July 4th. Performance will begin at 2:30pm on Wed, July 3rd, the final day of camp. The showcase will perform in our rehearsal space at Mass Academy of Ballet, 4 Open Square Way, Studio 403, Holyoke, MA. FREE and open to the public!
BBJ Spring Showing
Join us for our end-of-season FREE Spring Showing to celebrate our work from Trimester-3 and beyond. Prepare to be entertained by excerpts from musicals such as: YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN and SOMETHING ROTTEN, as well as a tribute to the pop classic, These Boots Are Made For Walkin’. Our Youth/Teen and Adult programs will all be showcasing in this short 30-40 minute showing. BBJ is excited to return to Holyoke Media’s Performance Space located at the bottom Suffolk Street in Holyoke. Event is FREE and open to the public!
2nd Annual Holyoke Winter Cabaret
Shake off those winter blues and join us for an unforgettable, family-friendly evening at the Holyoke Winter Cabaret at Mill 1 Events at Open Square in Holyoke, MA! The Massachusetts Academy of Ballet (MABETA) and Broadway Brings Joy (BBJ) present a fun-filled evening of food, drinks, and entertainment!
Mill 1 will be hopping as dancers take the stage for a sizzling night filled with music, dance, laughter, and joy! Bring a friend or two and enjoy good food and drink and GREAT dancing!
